Neighbor-to-Neighbor

The Hillcrest Neighborhood Association's Neighbor-to-Neighbor initiative is intended to bring together residents in need with neighbors offering services.  Services may be offered on a volunteer basis or for a fee, but this will need to be discussed and arranged by the two residents.  If you live in the Hillcrest neighborhood and have a need or have services to offer, please contact HNA at hillcrestna@gmail.com, and our volunteer coordinator will put neighbors in contact with one another.  Please specify the best way (phone or email) to get in touch. 

Several neighbors already have signed up to offer services, and these include (but are not limited to):

• Yard work, landscaping, lawn mowing
• Snow removal for the elderly
• Lifting/moving heavy items
• Small painting/caulking projects
• Pet feeding/sitting small animals, dog walking
• Baby sitting
• Delivering groceries from The Merc
• Transportation/errands
• Translating to/from Spanish & German
• Transcribing audio to print
• Photo archiving
• Oral histories
• Document shredding
• Organizing/decluttering
• Basic computer assistance
